Angela and I have created, run and sold-on various businesses since 1989. In this time we have had the full gamut of business experience from earning (and spending) fortunes, to the edge of bankruptcy.
All this experience prompted me to create a talk: ‘A dozen tips for business success’. It’s funny, to the point and has real value for existing and budding entrepreneurs…
I discuss the importance of teams, branding, my deep-seated distrust of business ‘professionals’ and lots of highly practical stuff that, if implemented, will make a business succeed.
If you are interested in booking me for a talk, please fill in the contact form.
“You really helped promote the students thoughts about their businesses and created a real buzz around the room. You played a significant role in making it an extremely successful event.”

‘The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.’
James A. Michener (1907-1997)
