On life, the universe and everything

Speaking On life, the universe and everything

The years have not been kind to my body: hair falling out, waistline expanding and I have tennis elbow (and that’s without playing a single game). What I have lost in the hair department, however, I have gained in experiences. There are a number of classic situations that even now when I tell them, make me laugh so much I almost pee…

There is the vasectomy story featuring ‘slasher’ De Sousa, the punting incident in Cambridge, the spa bath incident in Budapest, rock ‘n’ roll stories featuring Black Sabbath and New Order and the fried egg impression – it goes on.

So depending on the audience and the event, I can cook up something that will do the trick for you.

“You really helped promote the students thoughts about their businesses and created a real buzz around the room. You played a significant role in making it an extremely successful event.”

Simon Campbell

‘The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.’ – James A. Michener (1907-1997)
